Concrete Process
The process of laying a decorative concrete patio is the same as for any concrete surface. A color integrated concrete mixture (the color is added to the concrete itself) or plain concrete (color hardeners are applied on top of the freshly laid concrete surface) is poured. After bull-floating the concrete, it’s allowed to rest for a while and then stamped with the desired rubber mold. Our most preferred design for the patio is brick and cobblestone. A release agent helps to prevent the concrete from sticking to the mold. Once the concrete is set, it’s time to apply a sealant to ensure that the color does not fade giving it a good finish.
